# Become a Growing Regions delivery partner

> IA Group is building a vetted bench of regional contractors and consultants to deliver council and not-for-profit projects funded through Growing Regions. Round 1 alone funded 40 projects worth $206,590,135, and Round 3 grants will be $250,000 to $15 million each.

## What is the opportunity?

**Round 1/2 rules, Round 3 TBC.**

| Fact | Detail | Source |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Funding pool | $750 million over three years, shared between Growing Regions and Thriving Suburbs (2026–27 Budget) | [infrastructure.gov.au](https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/territories-regions/regional-australia/regional-and-community-programs/community-infrastructure-thriving-suburbs-growing-regions) |
| Grant size | $250,000 to $15 million | [GrantConnect](https://www.grants.gov.au/Fo/Show?FoUuid=c417341a-cdf3-4731-a0a8-f0740662d7d0) |
| Round 1 funded | 40 projects, about $207 million | Growing Regions Program Round 1 successful projects |
| Round 2 funded | $393 million available; funded projects list published September 2025 | [infrastructure.gov.au](https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/sites/default/files/documents/growing-regions-program-round-2-funded-projects-september-2025.pdf) |

Funded projects are built in regional towns, often far from the contractors who usually win council work. Councils need local and regional trades who can quote early and deliver to a grant timeline.

## How does partnering with IA Group work?

1. **Register** with the form below.
2. **Compliance check.** We confirm your ABN, licences, insurance and any prequalification.
3. **Matching.** When a council project we are supporting needs your trade in your region, we propose you, and the council decides whether to involve you.
4. **Quoting.** You quote your scope so the council has recent quotes for its application.
5. **Engagement.** If the project is funded, delivery follows the council's own procurement process.

## Which trades do we need?

Civil and earthworks, building and construction, electrical, plumbing and irrigation are the core trades. We also need landscaping and turf, steel and fabrication, project management, quantity surveying, engineering and design, and grant writing.

## What we expect

- A current ABN, the licences your trade requires, public liability and workers compensation insurance.
- Honest, itemised quotes, provided on time.
- Readiness to follow each council's procurement and work health and safety requirements.

## Please note

Registering does not guarantee work. Councils follow their own procurement rules and make their own decisions about who they engage.
