## What is the project?

The department's Round 2 funded projects list describes it this way:

> The project will reconnect Gladstone's CBD with the East Shores Parklands and Harbour precinct, addressing a key gap in the city's connectivity. This will be achieved through the creation of an inclusive, accessible, and vibrant pedestrian corridor linking Goondoon Street to the foreshore, enhancing both local and visitor experiences while stimulating retail and business activity.

Applicant, location, state and funding are also from that list ([page 7](https://www.infrastructure.gov.au/sites/default/files/documents/growing-regions-program-round-2-funded-projects-september-2025.pdf#page=7)).
