# Free Round 3 readiness support for councils and not-for-profits

> We help regional councils and not-for-profits get projects ready for Growing Regions Round 3, free. Tell us about your project and we will set up a workspace, book a scoping call and work through the evidence assessors ask for.

## Who is this for?

Local government councils and incorporated not-for-profits with a regional community infrastructure project in mind, whether it is an idea or nearly ready to build.

## What do we help with?

- Scoping the project and checking it against the Round 1/2 rules
- Recent quotes for major costs, which applicants had to attach in Rounds 1 and 2
- Designs and specifications for the parts IA Group delivers: irrigation, water management, floodlighting, energy efficiency and bulk water
- Introductions to vetted delivery partners for civil, building, electrical and other trades
- Structure and evidence for the business case, cost-benefit analysis, risk plan and procurement plan

## Why is it free?

Grant preparation, business cases and feasibility studies were not fundable costs under Round 1/2 rules, so councils carry that cost themselves. IA Group offers readiness support free because we would like the chance to quote on the work if the project is funded.

## How does it work?

1. **Tell us about the project** using the form below. It takes about five minutes.
2. **Your workspace is set up.** We email you a confirmation with the readiness checklist and a link to book a scoping call.
3. **Scoping call.** We talk through the project, the site and what evidence you already have.
4. **Gap assessment.** We list what is missing against the assessment criteria.
5. **Documentation pack.** Quotes, designs and supporting evidence, gathered in one place.
6. **Submission-ready review** once the guidelines are out.

## What this is not

- **Not a grant application.** Registering with us does not lodge anything with the government and does not guarantee funding.
- **Not a replacement for procurement.** Councils still follow their own procurement rules. Our quotes support your application; they do not replace a tender.
- **Not independent of a supplier.** IA Group sells irrigation, water management, floodlighting, energy efficiency and bulk water systems, and may quote on projects it helps prepare.
