About this guide and our independence
The Growing Regions Guide is an independent guide run by Industrial Automation Group (IA Group). It is not a government website, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Australian Government.
Who runs this site?
Industrial Automation Group (IA Group), an Australian business that works with regional councils on community infrastructure. IA Group sells irrigation, water management, floodlighting, energy efficiency and bulk water systems, and may quote on projects it helps prepare.
Why does IA Group run it?
Growing Regions applicants need recent quotes for major costs and strong evidence of readiness. We help councils and not-for-profits get that work done before they apply, free, and we would like the chance to quote on projects we help prepare. We say so plainly so you can weigh our advice.
Is this a government website?
No. Official information is published by the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts at infrastructure.gov.au. Always confirm details against the published guidelines before you apply.
How do we keep it accurate and fair?
- Every program figure comes from a single facts file, each with its source and the date we checked it.
- Rules from Rounds 1 and 2 are labelled as precedent until Round 3 guidelines confirm them.
- We summarise government documents in our own words and link to the originals.
- We describe the program, not the politics around it.
Procurement
Councils follow their own procurement rules. Our support and our quotes do not replace a council's tender or quotation process.
