What is the project?
The department's Round 2 funded projects list describes it this way:
The project will restore the Mittagong Memorial Hall and Playhouse to create a performing arts centre by undertaking structural integrity works, replacing the roof as well as auditorium seating and stage, installation of a lift, and upgrades to the audio-visual and lighting systems. The project will also integrate the Playhouse with the School of Arts and the old Mittagong Council Building.
